On October 11, 2017, the Southern District Court of Appeals unanimously affirmed the trial court’s judgment in favor of Firm client Marsha Hagan. Firm shareholder Josh Jones represented Ms. Hagan in her divorce in Polk County, Missouri. The divorce was tried for three days in January 2016 and the Firm was able to obtain a very favorable judgment for our client. Our client’s ex-husband appealed to the Southern District. Senior litigator Jeff King and shareholder Josh Jones handled the appeal on behalf of Ms. Hagan. The appellate court’s decision completely affirmed the trial court’s judgment, including an allocation of squandered assets to the husband, which had the effect of substantially increasing Ms. Hagan’s net allocation of marital assets. Marsha Hagan, Resp., v. Mark Hagan, Appl., SD 34563.
